Daily Thought--Don't you wish you could put some of the Christmas spirit in jars and open a jar of it every month?

Winter Wonderland Dance Info-- There will be a Winter Wonderland Dance on Saturday December 15 from 7pm - 10pm. Admission is $5 for couples and $3 for singles. Baked goods will be available for purchase. Lets have a fun, simple dance, and leave all the fancy attire behind.

Sports pictures--
Jh boy basketball and cheerleader pictures will be taken on Thur Dec 13 starting at 4:50 at Astoria.

Holiday Festival Friday, Dec. 21st- All students will participate in festivities. There will be an Ugly Sweater Contest which will lead into 2 rounds of watching your preferred movies: Santa Clause, Christmas Story, Polar Express, & Christmas Vacation. A game room will be offered to those who do not wish to watch a movie. All students will be expected to stay in their rooms during the whole film. The cafeteria will be available to munch on goodies once the office excuses a room. Students please bring the assigned goods: Seniors- Sweets, Juniors- Salty, Sophomores- Drinks, and Freshmen- miscellaneous. Student Council members will be expected to help set and clean up.

Semester 2 Schedules-- Any high school student who would like to request a class change for next semester should write the request down and put in the folder in the HS office by next Thursday, Dec 20.

Dress up days for the Christmas Week (Dec. 17-21)-- Dress up days for the Christmas holiday will be next week. Pictures and daily dress-up contest will be during lunch at 12:20 in the gym. All participants will receive a candy cane.

Tues- Santa/ Elf
Wed- Red and Green
Thurs-Favorite Christmas Character/ Animal
Fri- Ugly Christmas Sweater Contest 1st place winner receives Christmas Variety Basket
2nd place winner receives Christmas Chocolate Basket
3rd place receives Basket of Candy Canes

Candy Grams-- The journalism class will be selling candy grams on Monday, Tuesday, and Wednesday. Reindeer candy canes and Santa sleighs are $1.00. Snowman soup is $2.00. Send one to yourself or to a friend. Candy grams will be delivered at the end of 9th hour on Friday, December 14. See Mrs. Hackman or a journalism student for more information.

Christmas Basket Money Drive-- will be held at the beginning of 1st hour from Dec. 10th- Dec. 14th. Bring your change. Change adds to your pot, but checks and bills take away. The class that has the highest pot total raised wins a pizza party!

Student Council members-- will decorate the halls after school on Friday, Dec. 14th.
