"Hello everyone! My name is Kelsey Dean and I am the PreK-12 School Social Worker for the Astoria School District. This is my 10th year as the social worker here and I could not be happier to be continuing my career in this community. I received by Bachelor's Degree in Social Work from Bradley University and my Master's Degree in School Social Work from the University of Illinois at Chicago. When I am not at work, I love to spend my free time with my two wonderful children, husband, and dog as well as traveling to visit extended family in the Chicago area. When at school, I am available to meet with students to address any and all social-emotional needs, teach social skills, and provide services to students receiving individualized education services as well as work with families to connect them with outside services and resources. I work hard to make myself accessible to all of our students as well as their families so please never hesitate to contact me through phone call or email at any time and I will do whatever I can to provide help and support!"

"I am a 1998 graduate of Astoria High School. I earned my Master of Science in Occupational Therapy degree from Belmont University in 2010. I have over 20 years of experience in the medical field. I am looking forward to building relationships with the students in the Astoria School District and cheering them on as we work together to help them reach their goals."
